i have just one question, How do you determine that information on the Internet (including blogs) is being used to provide accurate information to users?
Well, you can't know for sure. It could be just as well be a lot of marketing-stuff you're reading.

How do you determine if an article in a magazine or newspaper isn't just a rewritten press release?

How do you determine if a journalist understands the subject correctly?

How do you determine if it is real advice you get in television shows, or if it is just product placement?

It is hard to tell, so just as well as most other medias you'll have to judge from what you know.
As with everything in life, buyer beware.

Dumb Little Man
You don't know. But why anyone would waste their time spewing out lies on a blog is beyond me? If they do do that, it's for entertainment only and I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out.
Has anyone seen the blogspot 'Buddy Fernandez'? It's funny, but it can't be for real...good reading though. I'm new to blogging and I've been checking out a few, some crazy ones out there...any recommended reading?

Cheers
