I'm new at this so here goes... my question is really simple.Do you think setting up a blog would be a safe way for me to communicate with my daughters. Can you use a blog that way or is it for more of an open forum? Thanks for the advise.
First of all, in generel blogs are mainly used like and "open forum". And if you create a blog using the most popular blog system etc. your blog will probably quickly be picked up be blog search engines due to the blog making automatic pings.
But you could use a blog for communicating with your daugthers - I think that would be a great idea. But if you want it to be private, you would need to password protect it or something like that.
One of the next days, when I have got more time, I can look into which easy solutions there is for you to do this. If you are interested...?
Thank you, yes I would be interested. I guess I should consider the reality that it is an open forum and possibly some of the discussions with my daughters may be of a more private and or personal nature. ie. school grades, problems and concerns in general.
Would I be better served to do a quick website? My desire is to have more of a responsive interaction (that's why I am considering a blog) while including some images of my travels. I really do appreciate your time with these questions.
