What are your experience with tagging all your posts for technorati?

Does it pay off and give traffic?

I've just begun tagging my new posts on one of my blogs, but I haven't seen much traffic because of them yet. I've tried using both very common tags and more specific tags - nothing really seemed to give any traffic.

i understand many people get a lot of traffic from technorati but i don't really how it works

I am with you guys. I use it and have not seen too much yet. I also don't really understand it..

Dumb Little Man

Well, I've now come to a point where I can get on average 5 visitors from technorati by using tags. I can't give any exact formula for how to use them - I'd say it just takes a lot of testing.

Second, I changed my wordpress plugin from showing technorati links to make all my tags linked to a search for the tag on my blog, using the standard wordpress search function. That has proved to give a significant amount through regular search engines.
