Im Rachel, Ive recently started blogging and have a question. Can you set up something that alerts you when your "blogging buddies" have updated their blogs? The number of times Ive visited blogs and no new entries

I think most blog scripts come with RSS feed capability, if the ones your after do then you can download a feed reader and use it to check for new blogs.

hi thanks for that. have recently noticed the "rss" orange box and added those to receive email when updates. thanks for your help

you can try some feed site to manage your RSS, like http://feedburner.com/.
